Give me three must dos in Bolivia

I am planning to spend three weeks in Bolivia in October and would like to know your opinions on where I should go. I don't drive so I cant hire a car for anything, and I will be spending a few days in La Paz to start off with. I'm going to Argentina afterwards, so would be looking to head down through the country, probably by bus.

I'm basically looking for three must see places to base my itinerary around.

Thanks in advance for your help

Michael

great thanks, i take it you are fairly keen on salar de uyuni then! Well, I'd love to go but I am travelling alone and I don't drive. Is there any other way to get there other than by car?

I like Sucre. It's a lovely old colonial city, and, for me, the most interesting city in Bolivia.

I loved Sucre too. It's charming and wish I stayed there more time actually. If you do go to Sucre, definately go to Potosi to visit the mines of Cerro Rico. If you watch the documentary The Devils Miner beforehand it's worth the trip. You'll know all about Cerro Rico and you'll want to go visit the Vargas family, on which the documentary is based. We had an amazing experience there, as we coincidently were there the day they were doing a llama sacrifice. We got to experience the traditions of the Aymara people. We went in the mines and hung out with the Vargas family and had one of the best days of the entire trip.

but definately Lake Titicaca (copacabana, isla del sol, isla de la luna)
