Gifts to Bring to Peru

I will be traveling to Peru in several weeks. The manager of the guest house where I will be staying has been extremely helpful with my planning. In addition to a tip I would like to bring him a small gift. Perhaps something he could not get easily in Peru. Any suggestions? Thanks

what is the etiquette for gifts for people you stay with in Peru (outisde hotels that is)? I'm planning a trip in 2015 and would like to bring some small thanks for those I stay with.
