Galapagos boat: Odyssey?

Hi!
We are planning a trip to the Galapagos and we may choose the Odyssey boat. Does someone know about this boat? Is it a good choice? How is the boat, the crew, the expeditions in the islands?

We would go for the 5 days trip, we have a price of about 1500$ US for april, since it is classified as a luxury boat (but not too big - only 10 passengers I think), I believe it's a good deal.

>Day 1: Baltra - Santa Cruz: Cerro Dragón
>Day 2: Rábida - Sombrero Chino
>Day 3: Genovesa: Bahía Darwin - El Barranco
>Day 4: Bartolomé - Santiago: Bahía Sullivan
>Day 5: Santa Cruz: Partie Haute - Baltra

Any comments on this boat are well appreciated!

Nice new boat good value at $1500

Book local and direct for best price might shop around a bit..

www.galpagosXpeditions.com best direct local for me

Can book the great stable Cats with them from $800 off

season sales on boats like Seaman II and Nina

Avoid the seasickness roach infested older motorsailers

booked marked up by many foreign expat scammers like

Archipel Samba Fragata Eden rocky pukey bunk beds are no fun.

Foreign expat agents are allowed to tout scam rip off folks

as "destination experts" on Tripadvisor forums careful there.

Yours is good though new good price better than most.

If you do not find a better deal above go for it!

www.insuremytrip.com always wise recent civil unrest

www.lan.com best flights in/out if you can swing it.

Happy Journey,

HI Amelie and Alexis,
Looks like you have found a nice itinerary and vessel at a good price. Be sure to check with your booking agent about exactly what is included: flights to/from the mainland of Ecuador? (200-400$) The National Park Entrance fee? (100$).
The ship holds 20 passengers. The National Park Guides are permitted to guide 16 passengers at a time, which would mean that if your boat was full (20), you would have two guides on board to accompany you, and each group would have 10, generally.
Have a wonderful time!
