Anyone know if it is possible to fly from Easter Island To Galapagos, or vice versa without returning to So. America in between?

Not possible as far as I know.

Hey, we looked at going to Easter Island but decided to concentrate on Ecuador. You can only fly from the Galapagos Islands to mainland Ecuador and not any other country. We know several people who have been to Easter Island and they absolutely loved it, almost a spiritual experience, and they are not the types to be all that spiritual. You don't go there for the wildlife, but the history and culture and tranquility.

I think the most direct route you can take is from the Galapagos to Guayaquil to Lima to Easter Island. That's assuming you do that on one of the days that LAN runs their Lima>Easter Island flights.

Check if flights from Lima to EI will resume. They said they were going to start again in January. Otherwise, you fly from Santiago on LAN.
