Any feedback? Thinking about their 8 day Naturalist Package.

It is nice sort of crowded with trnasient cruisers though.

prefer Red Mangrove if budget is good.

We visited it when we stayed in Puerto Ayora for a month in 2006 and it was nice but a little inaccessible (water taxi) if that's an issue for you. We spent a lot of time at Red Mangrove dining at the restaurant - it's a nice location but some of the rooms are teeny tiny.

The Finch Bay is a nice hotel, and the only one in Puerto Ayora that is right on the beach. You need to take a water taxi from Puerto Ayora to get there, which makes it special but can be considered inconvenient for some. There are no shops for last minute water, snacks etc over there, so everything needs to be purchased at the hotel.

The Red Mangrove is also a nice option, but be sure to request one of the rooms (ie individual cabin/villas)at the waterfront, rather than back further in the mangroves.

The Finch Bay Naturalist package looks interesting on the website, although the price looks a little high, as it doesn´t include the flight or the park entrance fee. That being said, they do have a good reputation here on the island and tend to get positive feedback from passengers.
Good luck with your research.

Thanks for the help. Finding planning this trip a little daunting. We are 61 year olds in fairly good shape desiring about a 10 day stay exploring this area. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
