I have not been to Sirop in a couple of years but the last meal I had there was superb. Good choice!~

Cabana la Lilas is waaaaaaaaaaaaay overrated and overpriced in my opinion....there are literally dozens of parrillas with food as good as Cabana at a fraction of the cost.

But talking about empanadas, there is nothing like SALTA to make you taste the BEST empanadas all over the world! The hand-made elaborated empanadas have not only good, fresh ingredients but also one "ingriedient" can not be found anywhere...Dedication and love...
And because people putthe heart when they empandas when empanadas are salted we say the cook want to leave, when it is without salt we say the cook is sad or depressed, when they are delicious we say the cook is happy. We have a lot of happy cook!

Near to Sirop Restaurant just back toward centre of Recoleta in a cross street we had good take away empanadas for lunch from a bakery. Sorry cannot be more precise than that. We were suprised that we did not see more empanada shops in BA.
