Ecuador safe travel
I am trying to convince my husband to take our small family to Ecuador for a vacation. He is concerned about the damage from the earthquake. Can someone pls provide insight? We would not be going until December 2016.

Most of the damage was in the northwest which isn't on most tourist itineraries. Galapagos was not affected.

make sure that you pass Trim Garcinia Cambogia and visit the relevant health boot camp before you sign up. you have to be certain that their software and their instructors are well suited along with your wishes. however, don make the mistake of going to a fitness boot camp that doesn truly pressure you to obtain your fine. you may need some gentle pushing and encouragement if you want to make sure which you get your stage of health which you desire. Don forget about that reaching fitness and weight loss requires patience and diligence a good way to achieve success and this could be nice carried out in a fitness boot camp. For more ==== >>>>>> http://www.skinshining.com/trim-garcinia-cambogia-scam/

We just travelled through Ecuador by bus from Peru to Colombia, spending just a couple of weeks in the country. We stayed in the highlands, at Cuenca, Latacunga, Otavalo and Ibarra. We noticed no visible effects of the earthquake whatsoever. In fact the only thing we noticed was the lack of foreign visitors. Even in Cuenca, the centre of gringo retirement, we saw very few westerners. From Ecuadorians we spoke to, it seems visitor numbers are well down. Which is a real shame as its a beautiful country.
I understand the concerns, but if you worry about earthquakes and volcanos, too much you would never visit South America. |
Hello,
Perception about the last big earthquake in Ecuador and the current situation of this country varies from person to person. Maybe some people think the whole country was destroyed or that there is going to be another strong earthquake, and we understand very well the fact that people don't like to feel their own lives threatened, but the truth is that fortunately most of the ecuadorian territory is in perfect conditions, even though this natural event was felt in the whole country. The main airports of Ecuador located in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca resumed operations only few hours after the earthquake. Highways in the Andes and jungle region are operative too and even the main roads to the ground zero have been habilitated. The Galapagos Islands were not affected at all. The history of earthquakes in Ecuador in some way lets us believe that there won´t be another event of the same intensity soon. You know earthquakes are unpredictable in Ecuador, Philippines, Japan and everywhere so this is not a really good reason to postpone or cancel a trip to Ecuador. A lot of people believe that this year is not the best time to visit Ecuador, but I think this is the ideal time to take your luggage and flight to this beautiful country for which Tourism is very important. Hope you give green light to a wonderful experience in Ecuador. All the best, Santiago |
