Buenos Aires for a month?

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are busy in the construction sector but will have a month to leave Canada in January to enjoy some rest, relaxation and sun. I have been researching where to go and decided that Argentina, primarily Buenos Aires would be a good place to spend a month. We would book via Airbnb and find a place probably in the Palermo Soho area and then do our daily excursions from there. We are in our mid fifties but very active (I run marathons and half marathons) and we love all kinds of things, museums, art, wine, good food and culture. In 2016 we went to Vietnam for 3 weeks and we loved it. It was a planned excursion with a travel guide (private tours and private guides) and the tour company who arranged our trip couldn't have done a better job....I guess my question is, do you think there is enough for us to see and do in Buenos Aires for a month and if we want to venture out to see the famous Iguza Falls as well as other things, is it easy enough to get around....any other suggestions on what you think might be a good place to go for a month that is warm would be welcomed. We are traveling from western Canada (BC) so anywhere in the world where it is warm is pretty far for us but because we are taking a month the length of the destination is not so much a concern. Any ideas, suggestions, feedback is welcomed...we also don't need to be doing something exciting every day...just enjoying the local culture is fine with us,
