Bolivian Visa

Yesterday I received my tourist visa for my 10-day trip to Bolivia this summer with a tour group. I don't understand the "duracion" information on the visa stamp, and am hoping someone can assist me. There's the abbreviation "Del." outside two boxes, which are each divided into 3 portions, into which is stamped 24 4 17 in the first box and 24 4 27 in the second. April 17? April 27? 24?? Again, I'm traveling this summer. It's not so easy to speak to a person when calling the Bolivian Consulate.,so I'm hoping someone knowledgable in the forum can help me understand the significance of these numbers. Thanks!

Is it a ten year visa? Looks like it saying it is valid from 24th April 2017 to 24th April 2027. (Many places write dates day-month-year.)

We English and most Europeans always put the date in the format 24 APRIL 2017 and I assume you are a USA citizen and have to pay for a 10 year visa so I believe Thursdaysd is correct and that is what you have.

It looks as though your visa has been granted from the date of receipt rather than the date of travel.

Yes--it's a ten year visa beginning April 24 2017 and expiring April 24 2027.

Congratulations on getting it, and buen viaje.
