I did find the A/C quite cold in Argentina and had to use my warm cardigan and the blanket they provided. When I went to Iguazu by bus, a lot of the other travellers in my hostel criticised me and told me I was crazy for not flying, but I HATE flying. After the transatlantic flight to BA and 5 hour delay at Sao Paolo airport, the last thing I wanted to do was go through all the security issues and deal with delays and boarding and all that stuff. I really enjoyed my bus trip and it was nice to see some of the scenery, and I got a great night's sleep.

Why would they criticize you for not flying? By far the greener choice.

Because it's so much faster. They thought I was crazy for 'wasting' 20+ hours on a bus and said I could have seen another place in the time saved by flying. I personally thought they were crazy for packing in Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Patagonia into 4 days. I don't see the attraction of ticking things off and barely having enough time to even see the places properly, but each to their own.
