Is there a quieter beach north or south of Copacabana Beach, with apartment rentals, in Brazil?

Prainha or Grumari areas both nice far less crowded...

Ipanema is next door to Copacabana but much tamer, and Leblon next to that even quieter. Not sure about apartment rentals but we found Praia Ipanema to be a great beachfront hotel.
