Authenticating Web Site Travel Agencies
I'm planning a trip to Peru. How do I find out if a travel agency on the Internet is legitimate? "Lima Tours" has referred me to "Spiced Destinations". Is anyone familiar with these two businesses?
Thank you! |
Lima Tours has been run by the same family for decades and is one of the best.
One tip is to look at the "Who we are" page. The more they tell you the better. Look for the IATA symbol on the website or other official organisations. Look for a physical address. Look at this page on the LT website: http://www.limatours.com.pe/english/nosotros/qsomos.asp |
Lima tours is ok do not know about your other but
kuodatours.com peruforless.com perbesttours.com best reviews. limamentor.com for tours around lima always pay with CC never wire money insuremytrip.com always wise for theft weather strikes etc. Have fun, |
and you are right
many scammers on line and there posting here recently with fake OPs etc. you can check with the tourist board and visitperu.com saexplorers.org but it is quite difficult to tell at times. So caveat emptor! |
ancientsummit.com Nina truly cares for Peru
great reviews also for me... |
Thank you all for your comments. What a great site!
