Argentinian Honeymoon

My fiance and I are planning our 2 week honeymoon in Argentina at the end of May. We are trying to go to Buenos Aires for a week and then spend the remaining week in Salta, Mendoza and the Iguaza Falls. Is this feasaible or are we trying to do too much? If it is too much, what two out of the three would you recommend?

Salta Mendoza and the Falls in 7 days?
I think it is overly ambitious.

BA for a week is good..

The end of May is getting pretty chilly and late fall/early winter feeling in BA.

I only know I would definitely see Iguazu Falls..

You could consider:

* 6 nights in BsAs - so much to see and do...

* 2 nights in Iguazzu Falls (spectacular) Fly Buenos Aires > Iguazzu on Lan Airlines is preferred - you fly from the domestic airport (2-3 days)

* 4-5 days/nights in the Northwest, Salta and surroundings. You can fly Iguazzu to Salta on ANDES Air [flights only 2 days per week - Mon/Fri I think) http://www.andesonline.com/regular_misiones.php

Then fly LAN: Salta > Buenos Aires -

* 1 night/2 days BsAs. so you will spend the last night in a hotel in Buenos Aires. Why not try a neighborhood different from the one you were in for the first week ?

Lots of permutations are available, but this would be a good - and not too jumping around - possibility.

Enjoy yourselves whatever you decide... ~MarnieWDC

Hi again Lovestruck:

Or, you could substitute either Mendoza or Bariloche or Patagonia for the Northwest portion. Read up on them all and see what appeals most.

I'll stop now and leave you to your research...:O) ~M

We thank you for all of your helpful advice. We still are not sure what we are going to do but now we have a ton more information then we did before. :)
