Argentina and Chile Trip report - 6 weeks
Back about a month now from a six week (solo traveler) trip to Argentina and Chile.
It was really an amazing adventure. A few weeks in a rented aprtment in Buenos Aires. Side trips to Colonia, Uruguay and Salta. Then on to El Calafate and Argentine Patagonia. Bariloche. Lakes crossing to Puerto Varas, Chile. Side trip to Acud on Chiloe. North by bus to Valdivia, Pucon and finally Santiago (a few weeks after the earthquake). Side trip for several days to Valparasio and Vina Del Mar.
Lots of personal opinion and insight (not all will agree).
Lots of food and beverage!
Lots of interesting people.
You can read my blog at

Cheers!
(fairly busy at work after being gone for six weeks - but feel free to ask questions and I'll answer them as quickly as I can - either here or on the blog)

Well I sat down and read the whole blog! I like reading other people's impressions of places I know well and yours was easy reading. It seemed like a nice trip without any rushing around. I think no one can hope to see everything there is to see on a short visit, so it is better to relax and enjoy what you do see. In fact you seem to have seen quite a lot. There is still plenty of Chile to explore if you would like to come back!
