Anniversary of 9/11/01
 

My heart goes out to all my American friends on this 13th anniversary of 9/11/2001.

Sharing your sentiments on this anniversary of that tragic event, avrooster. Sadly, it was yet another day that will live in infamy.

Today, I flew out of DCA and there was not only a moment of silence - in the airport, imagine - but that was followed be the playing of Taps. Then, there was a rousing and touching welcome of WWII Vets who had flown in to commemorate 9/11. Truly touching.
