Airfare to Buenois Aires and out of Santiago
Hello, I've used the Fodor's Forum many times. Always helpful. We are taking a cruise from Buenois Aires around the Cape and ending in Santiago, Chili. We will fly in and out of Miami, FL. Any suggestions for reasonable airfare? Also we are in our early 70's and wondering if we should spend an extra day or two in both cities and what suggestions you would have for where to stay and what to see. Thanks so much.

from $475 each way all in MIA EZE SCL MIA
other options also sometimes sales when they get slow in late
September early October usually try to book a Tues PM then.

I usually get good rates through -a travel agency I believe it is a wholesaler- to go to Buenos Aires where I go several times a year. The one I use is VIsta South America I imagine any other will do. TA sometimes they come with good solutions. Recently I got good rates for one of my daughters and her family from Buenos Aires to NY in TAM, the Brrazilian airliner .

We flew Dallas to Buenos Aires and home from Santiago to Dallas on American. When they dropped their prices a few months after we'd bought the tickets, we got a partial refund.Economy was very cramped.
However, we were attending a huge event in Santiago and most of the Americans there loved LAN and disliked American for their flights from US to SA.
