A little info about Buenos Aires' EZE airport, please

I think I read somewhere that EZE is not air conditioned. Is that true? Also, I know I read several comments that you had to be at EZE airport about 5 hrs ahead of your departure to get through all the queues... but I can't remember if this was recent info. Any comments would be appreciated.

It IS air-conditioned.

It depends on the flight you are boarding and the time of the year, but getting there four hours ahead should be more than enough.

We generally allow 3 hours pre-flight time. But, when going to EZE from BsAs, we also account for traffic/manifestation delays, and so allow a bit extra driving time for that.

And yes, as AVRooster says, it is air-conditioned.

About the a/c .. I found that all the air conditioning in BA was Super A/C ... like bring a sweater with you .. on the hottest day.

Thank you everyone. I ended up asking United, and they said get there 4 hours ahead. Of interest, since we are now in ba and having a great time, it took us just over an hour to get through passport control when we arrived around 10 a.m. Yesterday. Yes, the air conditioning was just fine!

So if flying from BA to Mendoza, you have to get there that many hours early?

Can anyone answer jp's question? Must one be at the airport four hours early for an in-country flight? If so, buses are looking better all the time!

The answer is no, but it depends.

If you only have cabin luggage and have your web check-in done in advance, I'd say you can get there only an hour or maybe 90 minutes ahead. You don't go to the airline's counter, you just go straight to whatever gate the plane leaves from.

But if that is not the case, I'd say at least two hours, to be on the safe side.

Have a great time in my country.
