9-11
On this twelfth anniversary of 9-11, my heart goes out to all my American friends.

Thanks very much AV. It's already been a bunch of years, but has much to do with us losing our naivete as a country. I think many of us lost friends or acquaintances during that period in our history.
Hoping we can eventually get back to your country. tptr |
Oh, and by the way............Do you own BA yet? If so, maybe we can figure out how to get back there!
|
I'm confident you'll figure out on your own how to get back here when the time comes, tptr.
Meanwhile, I suggest you read my posts which explain how staying in BA can be about 40% cheaper than it seems. |
Thank you av.
It was a truly terrifying day; one of those that you never, ever, forget where you were and what you were doing. I had multiple friends in the towers and Pentagon; they all escaped and survived, or weren't yet at work that day. Thank you 9-5 workday for the lives of some of my dearest friends. I'll never forget the sound of the military fighter jets screaming over my house; they had been scrambled to protect the nuclear power plant and Vandenberg. My DD was afraid of airplanes for years, almost couldn't get her to come to Egypt with me; the trip had 10 flights. "My peace I give unto you". I just wish we could accept and embrace it. Buenas noche, amigo |
