I saw MANY young, buffed, beautiful naked people last time I was there.
But it's not about that, we just love the party atmosphere,
so if anybody has any info about the parties and which are worth the $ then please reply. It's been around 10 years since I went down there for the fest.

Ackislander, if all you saw were OLD naked people, you must need new glasses -- bad!
AAFF, Google is a great thing. I'm not sure what kind of party you're looking for -- particularly gay or straight, but this really sums up all the parties with pretty good description.

We have a timeshare that starts the last day of FF (Saturday), so we're always there for parade night. The first 3 or 4 years we watched the parade and enjoyed it, but then it became less and less interesting. The mob got pushier, more rowdy, and a few years ago in the middle of the day a couple did something on Duval Street that's normally done in bed. The "audience" clapped. (I'm trying to keep from getting my post deleted). Fortunately we weren't there.
I thought most - if not all - of the parties were earlier in the week.

Go to www.fantasyfestparties.com/
This is the best I've found listing the parties. They don't have all of them, but more than the official Fantasy Fest web site. The ones with three $$$, can be up to $100 if you want a guaranteed table.

you can reserve a seat on their porch. Anyone that has a porch has reserved seating and that is the way to go unless you don't care about the pushing and shoving in the crowds.

flpab,
Thank you very much for the suggestion. We contacted HR and they still have few tables left on the balcony, but @ $250 pp, we chose to pass. Granted, it does include dinner and a glass or 2 of wine or beer, but that's a lot of money for a dinner at HR even with a comfy view of the parade included.
