Hi all,
I have a trip to Italy planned for September, and I think I made a scheduling mistake. We are staying in Sorrento for 2 days but then need to make it to Naples airport for a flight that leaves at 6:45am. It looks like the trains don't start until about 6 am, so I need another form of transportation to get from Sorrento to Naples on a Sunday morning. Any suggestions?

Have you contacted your hotel for suggestions?

You are going to need a private car or shuttle.

By private car I didn't mean self-drive but a taxi or car service.

Am sure you will find something.

Have you considered staying overnight in Naples the day before your flight instead of staying in Sorrento and coming up to Naples the day of your flight? You would have to be at the Naples airport about 5am for your flight - and it's going to be about a 1-1/2 to 2 hr ride from Sorrento to the Naples airport. Traffic at that hour should be minimal, but if there happens to be an accident, you might be stuck for awhile. Somthing to consider anyway ...

You'll have to either get a cab (you can probably set this up through your hotel - where are you staying?) or find a shuttle. We did this last year but got on the 6am bus for a later flight. Finding a cab should be easy. I am not sure about shuttles.
