Difficulties leasing a VBRO using PayPros?
We are trying to pay a deposit for a VBRO vacation home through PAYPROs online.
PAYPROs online screen Credit Card window won't take our credit card #. It errors our with "You must enter a text of 16 or less digits.
I've called PayPro and the TECH service won't help.
Anyone have any problems paying with PAYPRO for a VBRO?

don't know how it is different or better as this is the first time we have used it. It is the online payment method the VBRO Owner sent us to use.
We've contacted the VBRO, the Tech services at PayPro with no solution and the deposit expires tomorrow. Our only other other is check and we feel uncomfortable with that.
We are entering 15 digits, no spaces or dashes which is the max for AMEX and it will not take our card number. Comes up with an error message above. I used different cards and still won't take our credit card number in the field.

Did contact/Owner who called PayPro yesterday, confirmed he has an AMEX Merchant acct no tech difficulties.
The CC field comes up with choices of AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, etc. and ___-___-___-___ in the CC field. I asked if it is possible PayPro is counting the dashes in the field: response was no and we are not keying any dashes: only our 15 digit CC #.
Called AMEX this am to see if there was some weird problem on our end and there isn't. AMEX mentioned it might be our Security settings but I bought other stuff online yesterday w/AMEX.
We are really perplexed. Never used PayPro before: never had any problem paying online.
So will call the Owner tonight and see what else we can do

Txs again for the responses. It is US.
Want to be clear: it is not a VBRO issue (we have rented other VBRO homes and have done fine, not an Owner issue (nice, fast response, helpful and concerned) so don't want to concern others.
If we can get it resolved, will post for others.

Just a quick f/u.
DH & I thought that we would try PayPro deposit link via our IPAD (Apple) vs. using our Desktop(Microsoft). IT WORKED!
We have no idea why, but our deposit is in via AMEX, we have a receipt and YEAH!!! we are done!
