We will be visiting Charleston on Valentine's Day. We like Italian, Steaks, Contemporary American. We want to get some suggestions for a romantic, great food restaurants. Price is not an issue.

You will have many choices but make your reservations today
Unfortunately most restaurants won't take reses until 30 days before.
btw, we're looking at Trattoria Lucca. Any thoughts?

from my experience Valentine's Day is one of the worse days of the year to dine out for dinner. Most places (especially the "romantic" ones) are over crowded, have slap-dash service, serve a limited selection menu and are way over priced for what you get. That said, if you are traveling you have to dine out so you may as well try to find something decent.
Here's a few places we enjoyed during our last visit:
Peninsula Grill (in the Planter's Inn)
FIG
SNOB (aka Slightly North of Broad)
Circa 1886 Restaurant

Agree with Roams. AND they want to turn that table. The steak and Italian choices are certainly available I'm sure, but it ain't Charleston style. LOL
And yes, I'm sure AA is correct, but if you look at the calendar, "today" isn't too far off of 30 days!! But it ties in with Roams--it is an over-rated day to eat out and have less than normally good food.
BUT if they are there, that is what it is.
