Don't drink from hotel room glasses
OK, I debated posting this one but we are all travelers and it may hit some of us very soon. I may even cross post it to the other forums.

hi, wayne,
let's hope that most cleaners start with the glasses and cups and work down to the loo, not vice versa.
some places provide plastic cups all wrapped up for guests. they seem preferable, somehow.
I think I'll be bringing my own

regards, ann

Typical TV "news" garbage.
The "stunning" news is that if you check into a hotel for 2 nights, the hotel doesn't give you a new drinking glass for the 2nd night. So what?
Now it would be a very different thing if the "report" showed that the same glass is rinsed out and used after one person checks out and a different person checks in. But that is not what they did.
And, please, the lame claim that they told the check-in person that a different person would be staying the 2nd night beggars belief.
The real question is whether or not hotels change (or do not change) glasses after people check out, and the 3rd-rate tv report did absolutely nothing to further our knowledge about that.
