Pennsylvania - Poconos

We are going to Ski Side Village, Tannersville, Pa next month and would like ANY information anyone could give us on this resort. Also, any ideas for what to do in the area?? We are bringing my mother and motherinlaw who are both in their late 70's. Have tickets for "IN the Beginning" in Strasburg, anything closer to Tannersville???

The Crossings is a decent outlet mall in Tannersville. They have a website, if you want to google. It will give you directions and a list of stores.

What kind of food or things do you like? There is a place in Stroudsburg called Siamsa. Good food, nice atmosphere and music some nights. American Candle in Bartonsville is a great place to browse (they have a lot more than just candles).

I'm not familiar with the resort so I can't help you out with that.

I highly recommend the Frank Frazzetta museum. It's open only on weekends so you better call.

You should have dinner at the Edelweiss in Blakslee.

Tannersville is only a short drive from Stroudsburg and the Delaware Water Gap.

The Crossings, Siamsa, and Delaware Water Gap all sound like they might fit in great!! Thanks for all suggestions so far. I think the museum is out if only open weekends - I will have to check it out though. Neither one of the "moms" are up to too much walking anymore - but they both enjoy scenic drives, and looking at the wildlife. Edelweiss looks great for my husband - he enjoys trying out new foods - but I dont know if moms will go for it!!

New foods? They serve salmon, steak, scallops, lobster ravioli at the Edelweiss. You find that exotic? What do you normally eat, sweetie darling?

I guess I am strange for drinking Krug for breakfast.
