Cave of Images in Les Baux?

I have seen a rave review of this on these message boards! We will have limited time to see Les Baux. Can others comment with their opinions? I have looked at the Website and am trying to imagine how it can't be "cheesey", but don't want to miss a unique opportunity. Thank you!

Hi sglass,

We saw the Cezanne show in late October and loved it. It felt like being "in" a piece of art to us.

Th show changes often, so don't know what's there now but I enjoyed it. The ground and walls are all the screen.

I think the current show is Venice.

Traviata is correct... the show, until January, is Venice. It truly is not "cheesey", but you could store cheese in those old quarries. Be sure to bring a sweater and wear slacks. It's quite chilly inside.

That's one of the best parts for me -- I have gone in July and August and I really appreciate the drop in temperature when I enter the quarry.

kerouac... I hear you ! A few summers ago when it was 42 degreees EVERY day, I used to go visit a friend who worked there, just so I could go in the quarry and cool off.

I saw a show there several years ago and it was very tasteful. I cannot remember the theme of the show, but, yes, the cave was chilly. Bring a sweater.
