Onguma Camp in Etosha, Namibia

Wondering if anyone has stayed at the newer Onguma Tented Camp on the eastern side of Etosha Nat. Park. There are 3 types of accommodations to choose from at Onguma and this is supposed to be the nicest with 6 units near a waterhole. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

ekrscrunchy

thank you !!
I can't wait to leave.. !! I set another post for the car rental company, then everything is fixed. In Etosha we will be staying in Okaukuejo 2 nights and 1 night in Namutoni. At the moment we were offered the standard chalet in Okaukuejo and we fixed that but I am pressing requests to NWR for upgrading to lux chalet, closer to the waterhole !! They told me some operators release unsold units 45 days before so I will insist again in the next days and weeks for the end of june !

DJE. sorry I have no infor on Onguma Tented Camp as I was recommended to say at Okaukuejo

Hello,

You may want to consider Onguma Plains, which looks to open later in 2006 and should be even more luxurious than Onguma Tented Camp.

Cheers,
Julian
