Decent Breakfast Place at Atlanta Airport?

Decent Breakfast Place at Atlanta Airport?
we have a 4 hour layover in atlanta next week--5:30am to 9:30am. is there a decent place to sit down and have breakfast somewhere in the airport?

the airport has lots of restaurants, although it is divided into different terminals. If you want a restaruant that's not in your terminal, you have to walk or ride a shuttle to the terminal where you want to go. There are printed maps and display maps which tell you what's there and where.

Speaking from too many early mornings in the Atlanta airport you're going to have a rough time finding anything before 7:30-8am. Each concourse has a handful of places to grab food but the best selections are concourse A & B which are the Delta concourses.
There are a few restaurants with sit down service. Houlihan's and Chili's Too are both in the A Concourse and have sit down waiter service. TGIF's is in Concourse B.
Here is the website for the airport...http://www.atlanta-airport.com/ The website lists phone numbers for the restaurants. I would give them a call and see what time they open.
Going concourse to concourse is really easy just be sure to take the train!

Hi lolfn, I just experienced the Atlanta airport for the first time last week. The airport is enormous but I found it very easy to navigate.
The tram that has been mentioned here is the easiest way to get from one terminal to another. I found that you use elavators a lot (up and down and up and down) but the signs are clearly marked and using the tram is a breeze. There is a neon sign inside the tram that lets you know what the next stop is.
I stopped in at Houlihans and although I didn't eat (just had a glass of wine as it was the middle of the afternoon) I did read the menu for lunch and it was quite extensive so imagine you can find something you want for breakfast. That was in Terminal A (Delta).

I would like to suggest Paschals. It is an ATL southern resturant. To sit down and be served, you must visit the Paschals on Concourse C (had breakfast there Sunday morning). If not, there are two outside of security in the Atrium and on Concourse A as well.
