Córdoba day trip from Seville?
I'm in the middle of planning an Early Nov. 8-day trip to Seville/Madrid from Munich and was wondering what your thoughts are on a day trip to Córdoba? I've been to Seville and Madrid during my Univ days in Valencia, but it will be the first time for the wife. I've never been to Córdoba. Any other city/village recommendations?
Thanks for your suggestions.

The Mezquita in Cordoba is not to be missed. While you're there, wander through the surrounding streets and have a wonderful lunch at El Caballo Rojo, very close to the Mezquita, for excellent Arab-influenced Andalusian cuisine.

I agree with Eloise; the Mezquita is fascinating. If you can, an overnight in Cordoba is lovely. During the day it's very busy as it is a popular day-trip from Seville, but it's quiet at night and very mysterious. The winding streets are yours to explore without crowds.

I didn't have the ozo soup; what was it?
I did have the gazpacho blanco soup (almond base; green grapes as one of the things you sprinkled on). And I asked for the recipe, which they gave me -- in Spanish, which I don't really speak -- and which I have somewhere, but heaven only knows where...!
