Wine...wine...wine...in NY City

We recently went to Chicago and ate at www.bin36.com. We loved it because they offered flights of wine. Basically a quarter of a glass of 4 or more wines to taste with dinner. We would love to find a similar place in NY City.

Thanks!

Dont know if they have "flights" but here are a few NYC restaurants known for their wine... Veritas, Morrells, 11 Madison Park, The Tasting Room (A favorite of ours - tiny restaurant in east village - will pair food with wine)

It was about a year ago, but Thalia
(on west 50th I believe) offered a prix fix meal, and for $15 more , a wine flight with the meal. It was very good.

Check the recent Four dinners in NYC post.
Second Syddiez on "Tasting Room"
Aqua in SFO and Lola in Dallas have amazing "tasting menus with wine pairings".
As I recall, Aqua had eight or nine dif wines. We barely made it up CA Street to the Stanford Court Hot.
www.lola4dinner.com and their wine list might be of interest should you be forced to visit D.

For wine flights, Divine Bar is a great place to go. They have 2 locations in midtown, one on west side, one on the east side. 15-20 different Flight choices in all different types and price ranges.
See website at divinebar.citysearch.com

Second the suggestions for the flights and wine/food pairings at Morrells - it's what they specialize in - go on the website www.morrells.com for upcoming special nights

Lo siento, mis amigos
I complete forgot about the many wine dinners hosted by PJWine, a VG retail outlet in the upper end of B'Way.
