What B&B to stay at in New Orleans ?
I am looking to spend thanksgiving in New Orleans and am looking for recommendations on some B&B's.. I called a few places and they had rooms at Maison de Lagniappe and Sweet Olive. Anyone been to either of these or have other suggestions ?
Thanks for your help!

Check out La Maison Marigny

Great location. It is on Bourbon St, but on the end away from the noise. Hosts were wonderful.
Check out the Snug Harbor Bistro if you go. Good place to listen to jazz for a little while, but take a cab there. Not the best place to walk--or so the travel guides say.

We didn't have any issues with walking to the Snug Harbor. Some of the blocks are residential, some are commercial, but there weren't any rundown blocks. We went down Royal and came back on Decatur.

I can highly recommend two places: La Maison Marigny (mentioned in an earlier post as being on the quiet end of Bourbon) and B&W Courtyards, which is in the Faubourg Marigny adjacent to the French Quarter. Both of these places are licensed and both have wonderful reputations.
