Anyone stay at Regency Hotel in S. Kensington?
We got a great rate at a 4-star hotel, the Regency Hotel, 100 Queens Gate in S. Kensington.
Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carol

Here's a recent trip report with favorable remarks. You'll find about 8 other threads by typing "regency hotel AND london" into the text box at the top of this page.

Thanks caralfieri and Lesli for the positive input.
FYI, the rate we got through Travelocity averaged to about $125 per night (different price on weekdays and weekends)!!! I know this is very low for London, especially for a hotel that books itself as a 4-star. So I was a bit suspect, but I'm sure we'll be very happy. (Not sure if breakfast is included, but for that price, who cares?)
Again, thanks,
Carol

Don't worry - a UK hotel cannot just " book itself as a 4-star". Ratings are official and have specific criteria. If it says 4 star it is 4 star. There will be individual differences of course.
