Old Quebec
My husband and I are planning to be in Quebec City Oct. 31 - Nov 5, staying at Hotel Manior Morgan on Rue Saint Anne. A great location across from the Frontenac. Is there a quaint little restaurant recos. We are more into a fun vibe and like a more casual feel than fine dining TBH. Even some suggestions on an afternoon patio ( weather permitting ) would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

It's been a while (2015) but our best meal of the trip was at Legende https://restaurantlegende.com/home/
Have a great trip!

We really liked Bistro Sous Le Fort (48 Rue Sous le Fort) in . We ate here on our first night in Québec City. Here's our first day in QC, with the restaurant stuff near the end. Lots of QC info (and photos) in all the links. We spent four nights there and loved it.

A five minute walk from Château Frontenac is Bello. Great Italian. We ate here for lunch.
Detailed below on our second day.

Finally, eight minute walk from Château Frontenac is Chez Boulay-bistro boreal. When I checked the restaurant online it said "Nordic Cuisine," and we had no idea what that could be, so, of course, we had to try it. The deconstructed French Onion soup was incredible. We ate here on night three. Description at the end of another busy day. Did I tell you we loved Québec City?

Below is also a great day trip (our Day 4) from QC that was remarkable, especially with the Fall colors. Chute Montmorency is a gorgeous waterfall while Sanctuaire Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is set in a gorgeous setting. The church is remarkable, too. Hopefully, the bus that you get near the Chateau in the morning will also make a stop at an ice cream shop extraordinaire on a lovely little island.. Have fun!

My husband and I ate at Bello, mentioned by maitaitom, a few years ago and enjoyed our meal there.
you will be close to many restaurants at your location. Although you will be in the upper city it is easy to get down to the lower part of the city via a staircase. Le lapin saute is a good restaurant in the Petit-Champlain district.
