Lisbon: airport hotels or hotels nearby with airport shuttle

Hi, Just seeking recommendations for a hotel at or near the airport in Lisbon. Have a VERY early departure so would like things to be as close and easy as possible.

Thanks!

Lisbon airport is very close to downtown, I would just arrange an early taxi. However, there is a list of airport hotels here: https://www.sleepinginairports.net/g...port-guide.htm

Thanks for the link -- very helpful in that it provides info on walking distance and shuttles.

I know the airport is close to town but, given a very early morning departure, figured I'd save some $$ by not staying in town.

Again, very much appreciate this link -- better than what I found searching on my own.

It was years ago but we had the same situation - we stayed at Hotel Blu which was fine and very close.

Thanks for the additional comments.

This will be my third and longest trip to Portugal (almost 3 weeks this trip).. Will spend more time exploring different parts of the Algarve and also some of the somewhat-less-touristed areas inland and in the north. Having cancelled twice during covid, I am anxious to get back out there!

The problem with airports these days is the COVID situation.

we have breezed through the Lisbon airport and sometimes it seemed to take forever.

I can understand your concern with an early departure.

Enjoy Lisbon and Portugal. We love both.
