Southwest Vacation Trip Protection + Covid?
Hello,
We are considering using the substantial amount of $ we have sitting in our SW account (cancelled flights last spring) to book a family vacation to Maui in April. It's a short flight for us from California. For the first time ever, we are considering purchasing trip protection insurance for our family of 4. Not sure anymore if there would actually be a *cancellation* of a flight or closure of a resort. More likely that Hawaii would reinstitute 14-day quarantine, but not cancel flights or close resorts. In that event, we would WANT to cancel our trip, but insurance may not cover? Curious if others have experience making claims on a SW vacation using their offered travel insurance.
