Bar Harbor, Maine - Nice Hotel
Hi All,
Planning a trip to Acadia National Park and looking to book 5 or 6 nights in a nice hotel or bed and breakfast in Bar Harbor at the end of August. With all of the booking sites, one would think this would be an easy task but I’ve found the hotel website and other photos incredibly misleading and nothing looks all that great. Has anyone stayed in a nice place they would recommend? Looking to top out at around $400/night all in. Thanks!

West St Hotel: https://www.theweststreethotel.com
Well located, nice pub style restaurant, modern updated decor with nice amenities. Not cheap, but within your budget. Opt for a balcony facing the harbor if you can.

Recently returned from my trip which was amazing! Loved the West Street Hotel. Incredibly convenient location, large, well appointed and very user-friendly rooms and an incredible perk for very active travelers hiking and biking in Acadia National Park - unlimited and complimentary Poland Spring bottled water and Kind protein bars! We splurged on both and were very grateful for them.
The Harborside Spa and Marina which is across the street and a sister hotel to the West Street is a great property as well but better suited to those with kids.
Thanks for the guidance!
