safe place to meet near 684 White Plains, New York
I'm coming from Long Island and would like to meet a family member in Westchester but near 684. Does anyone know of some parks or outdoor space we could meet? We are hyper careful in my house and will bring my own chairs and masks, of course. Funny to be asking this very local question. Hopefully some day I could ask for recommendations for parks in far away places.
Oh, and that's "safe" as in Covid.

If you're looking for something outside like a park, then along Silver Lake makes perfect sense. It's near I287 & I684, and along the east side is a large parking lot, picnic tables, fields, benches where you could meet. (look up Passidomo park).
There are also many places in Scarsdale, eg this park right off the Hutch Weinberg Nature Center Home Page
Surely your sister could recommend a local park you could meet at, no?
As for the airport, yes, it is open, but with all the parks available I'm not sure why you'd go there other than convenience off I684.
But does it need to be near 684? That road doesn't start until White Plains. Coming from LI you could just as easily take the Hutch over the Whitestone, or if you take the Throgs Neck, take I95 north then get off before you get to 684.
