Philadelphia hotel, neighborhood help

We're a young family, need to be in Philly for a relocation research trip in July. Not interested in sightseeing during COVID but rather plan to be in the car driving around different residential neighborhoods, including Rittenhouse Sq, Fairmount, Manayunk, Roxborough, Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill, Lower Merion.

There are hardly any hotels in those neighborhoods. Would appreciate recommendations for a hotel in city center area where it is easy to park our car, get in and out, and where the hotel will be in a safe and peaceful area. Also hope to be near restaurants where it is easy for us to get takeout meals for breakfast and dinner. Our kids like burgers and Asian food.

Ideally we would like to have a comfortable hotel suite with a living room and bedroom. Prefer not to be in a b&b, want to make sure the room is very spacious and clean, and there are no antiques or fragile furniture for our young kids to break. Budget is $500/ night. Thanks.

Windsor Suites. Great reputation and lauded for Covid precautions/rules. Note that parking is additional $50 per night
Urban Farms and a few other possibilities for takeout/delivery within walking distance of hotel.

I live in Manayunk. Why don't you stay someplace like the Sheraton Valley Forge, which is near the KOP Mall and numerous restaurants?
