Visa entering Egypt

Is it best to get a visa flying into Cairo from the USA before I go? Not sure about the airport issued visa. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Super easy, super fast..just bring cash...I think equivalent of $50 US dollars. I think they take Euros also. Took minutes.

$25 US. Not "equivalent." Bring US dollars cash. Paid at a bank kiosk as you enter the immigration area. Could not be easier.
