I very much enjoyed reading your fascinating trip report. Awesome photos that you should be proud of!
My wife and I will be spending two weeks in Armenia and a week in Georgia starting June 9th. We are both fully vaccinated. Many of the places we are staying are guesthouses that serve meals. And they are expecting us to pay cash. Did you notice about ATMs and banks?

Good to know that we'll be able to use plastic at times. It's been so long since we've traveled internationally...... used to be a regular feature of our lives. My wife called to let her credit cards know that we'll be using them overseas, and apparently with the electronic chips it's not a thing anymore, she was told they'll work just fine.
