Thinking of staying at Hotel St Paul near Luxembourg Gardens.

Hotel St Paul looks nice. Has anyone stayed here?

No. Close by I stayed twice at hotel des grands hommes and once at observatoire st michel that I found above average.
St. Paul looks nice. But a little bit outdated.

We don't care about outdated. We care about location and quiet. Rooms have minibar and coffeemaker.

I love that they're not afraid to use those old grandmotherly flowered wallpapers. Not something I'd ever want in my own home, and yeah, I guess sort of outdated, but they do it with such purposefulness that it works.I think the whole place looks terribly charming.

Starrs,

You know I agree and Thin claim to know all about l'Abbaye.

By the way, I am booked there 10/2-7 and 12/3-7.

Ahhh, Weekender! If Delta has another points sale, I may return!
I'm "cheating" on "our" hotel on this next trip. It will feel very strange not to be there.
