Transport options in Israel
Hello Fodorites,
We have planned a 7 days trip to Israel. Going to be based in Tel Aviv for 3 nights and Jerusalem for 4. Interested in visiting Dead Sea, Masada, Sea of Galilee and Caesarea or Apollonia.
What is the best and secure way to get to these places?
I have made an assumption that within TelAviv and Jerusalem most sights can be done by walking or public transportation.
Please share your inputs.
Thanks!

Yes the best way to get around in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem is walking or by public transportation. There are day tours to Caesaria from Tel Aviv, about 4 hours. Also to the Dead Sea a d .asada you can do that in one day from Jerusalem. Abraham yours will get you there. It's only transportation - no tour guide.
Seven days all together is very little time as there is so much to do and see.
I would suggest you ask your question on the Trip Advisor Israel forum. They have experts. No one on Fodors seems to know much about this amazing country.
