World Cup Viewing in Belize

Help! My OH and teenage sons just realized that the finals game for the World Cup will be while we are in the San Ignacio area of Belize. We are staying at Chaa Creek, which seems to be TV less, and my soccer fans are NOT pleased. Does anyone have recommendations for a good place to watch the Finals game? Its going to be early on a Sunday morning (10 am, I think), if that also matters. I know that sports bars in the States will open early for big events like this, but I'm nervous about Belize.

Contact Hode's Place and ask if they have anything planned...

Maybe Flayva's on Burns Ave, but I can't remember if they have a TV.

Years ago, I was at bar near the park that had a TV, but I don't know if they will be open (if the bar is still there).

Football (soccer) is popular in Belize, so I'd guess the game will be on every TV.

No thoughts, just sympathy - I don't think I can even list all the places we've watched the finals over the years! (a pub in Harpers Ferry, WVA, a hotel lobby in Rome, a bar in Paris (when France LOST to Italy), the list goes on....

Every 4 years we go to some awesome tropical location and watch the summer Olympics. Usually on our Latin American vacations we avoid televisions but those summers we make sure we have one for the events that interest us. Hope you find what you're looking for!
