Need help with St. Louis Missouri "areas"
Going to lecture at St.Louis county Library on Lindbergh Blvd in Nov..(Lee Child the author--read all of his books)
This is main focus plus one trip to St. Louis Art Museum
I am a senior lady, prefer to travel alone...
Flying in and out of Lambert
Will not be renting a car and feel comfortable using mass transit and Lyft..
..Questions: Hotel near Lindbergh Blvd?,,downtown or airport .
I do like area with restaurants but not much for shopping.
Appreciate any in put..

If this address is close on Lindbergh, I'd stay here:
HILTON ST. LOUIS FRONTENAC
1335 SOUTH LINDBERGH BLVD., SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI, 63131, USA
TEL: +1-314-993-1100 FAX: +1-314-993-8546
It's close to the airport, and in a nice suburban area.
You mention the museum, I'd also recommend the fabulous Missouri Botanical Garden, which is near Washington U (a gorgeous campus) and the Central West End (nice little restaurants and boutiques).
Or, the Chase Park Plaza is a nice hotel, located central to the other sites mentioned.

Also, the Drury Inn downtown at the Arch is in an historic building and has great service, with breakfast and cocktail hour. But, it's not close to the airport or Lindbergh Blvd.
Clayton is another nice suburban location, that's somewhat between the airport and downtown.

There is a Holiday Inn Express on Lindell in the Central West End that would put you in a nice, beautiful area with a lot of restaurants. Euclid Avenue is an easy walk from there. You are also very near Forest Park where the St. Louis Art Museum is, you would need to take Lyft to get there though. You could also stay downtown near the Arch and be close to restaurants and some nice newly landscaped parks and a fun sculpture garden.
