Coors Field Security for Zac Brown

How long, approximately of course, will it take to go through security at a concert at Coors Field? We will be carrying some of the permitted items -- so will not be going through the express line. I know this will be an estimate -- but how much time should we allow? 30 minutes? 1 hour?
Thanks much!!

That is absolutely impossible to answer. First, multi entrances with variable length of lines. Generally feel lines on the east side are shorter. If you go an hour earlier or more, the lines may be shorter - later longer. I would think that 30 mins would be adequate but that is only a guess.

I also think 30 minutes would be okay, but I wouldn't wait to enter Coors Field 40 minutes before the show. I bring all my personal stuff in a small cross body bag. My food/drinks are usually in a grocery bag that can be easily opened for inspection then handed to the person manning the metal detector while I walk through.

It's usually a fairly quick process, although the guy checking bags this weekend was a bit over the top and made my husband take his sandwich out of the bag so he could see better and then made me take my glasses case out of my bag and open it.

Have a great time!

Just saw this from the Rockies Facebook page and it looks like there are very few permitted items.

Attendees should be aware that this AEG Live event will have some different facility policies as compared to Rockies game days.

Concert attendees should be aware of the following:

Coors Field Main Ticket Office opens at 9:30 a.m.

Coors Field parking lots open at 4:30 p.m.

Tailgating will not be permitted in the Coors Field parking lots.

All Coors Field gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Express and Season Ticket Holder lines will not be in use at the gates.

No bags will be allowed except purses and medical supplies and these bags will be subject to search upon entry.

No outside food or beverages will be allowed.

No re-entry will be permitted at the gates; once you have entered the facility, you may not leave and re-enter.

Attendees of all ages require a ticket for entry, including children under the age of three.

The Rooftop is open for this event.

Smoking allowed in designated areas only.
