Albergo Santa Chiara, Daphne Veneto or Albergo Cesari - Rome

Working on booking hotels for our family of four trip to Italy this summer. We are following a similar route as a trip we took 10 years ago with our sons when they were 9 and 12 - they are now 19 and 22.

It's been a busy year and I am late booking hotels for the summer. These three hotels are available for our dates in June and are comparable in price. We stayed at the Cesari ten years ago - loved the location and the staff, but the rooms needed a little updating then - wasn't sure if that was still the case. Would love your feedback on:

1. Albergo Santa Chiara

2. Daphne Veneto (their family apartment)

3. Albergo Cesari

Grazie !

Several years ago we (family of 4 with young kids at the time) stayed in a family suite at Santa Chiara. They also had a larger apartment type accommodation that a family of 5 was staying in.

Hotel was fine, but then again it was a while ago, so can't speak for it now. Location was great.

Albergo Cesari depends on the rooms you get. Sometimes I got a room that looks like a storage room next to the elevator. Other times, I got a pretty modern large room at a price of their cheapest room.

I have stayed at the Albergo Cesari twice. One room was a very large double with floor to ceiling windows
and a big bathroom. The other was a tiny single. I loved them both. The rooftop dining area is an unforgettable place to have breakfast and look out over the rooftops of Rome. It's in a perfect location.
