Spanish classes in Tucson

We are hoping to take intensive Spanish classes when we are in Tucson for the winter next year.
I have searched on line but found little.
Does anyone know about anything? We would prefer classes outside a college setting, more of an immersive style.

Good luck with this. I've started learning Spanish on-line; it might help you also but to each their won while you're waiting to GET to Arizona.

I have done both college courses (a few years ago) and even before that with a small group taught by a former HS Spanish teacher in an informal group setting (immersion). For me this worked best.

You might check with local adult centers or adult ed programs.

Suggest OJT
Start dating Spanish speaking people
To learn it, you have to speak it

Contact Dru Castro at Language Horizons. drucastro at aol I took Conversational Spanish classes from her for four years.
It looks like she has moved to Pantano from Broadway. I don't remember but think was teaching at Pima CC, maybe the U of A as well. High energy, bright, fun lady. Interesting classes.
Students are there to brush up on their Spanish or need to speak Spanish at a higher level for their work settings such as in health care. I find that I use Spanish often.
Perhaps the Dept. Of Spanish and Portugese at the U of A might have other suggestions.

I don’t think my wife would like me dating anyone.

i have however found a wonderful source for classes, The International Language School on Oracle near Ina.
