where to buy basic toiletries in Lisbon?

Hi,
I will be staying at Hotel Marques de Pombal, Avenida Liberdade, 243 in Lisbon and need to find out where I could buy simple toiletries such as shampoo, deodorant, etc. Not interested in "high-end" items.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Look up grocery stores on your GPS or iPad, etc.

When we stayed in central Lisbon, near , we shopped at a Pingo Doce and I am pretty sure they sold toiletries. It is a regular grocery store. Our apartment was near Praca Rossio and it was nearby.

to find such stores in Portugal, often hidden on a side street or with a mini entrance on a main drag we always followed backwards the folks we saw with plastic grocery bags.

I always bring a good supply from home - often cheaper than in Europe IME and you get what you want.

If you don't get any more specific answers here, I would think the front desk at your hotel would be able to direct you to the closest place for whatever you need.

There is a Mini Preço market (perhaps two) within five minutes of your hotel. Ask them to point you in the right direction.

Considering you'll be at a HOTEL, you will be provided with shampoo and soap.

My current hotel, Ibus Styles, in Beaune, France has common-use liquid soap at the bathroom sink and shower but NOTHING else. Not even tissues!

Glad to have my own toiletries!

My main reason for asking is b/c I do carry-on and the small sizes don't always last and I need to replenish. I have often found items that I really like in European stores. Yes, I realize that the hotel may provide some basic toiletries.
