Turks and Caicos - Provo restaurant decision
We have booked dinner at Coco Bay and am looking to book another - trying to decide between Magnolia's and Anacaono - which one for the best combination of food, service, romance, and view? Thanks!

Coco Bistro is very good. Magnolia ( I think) is hit or miss. We've had some excellent meals there, some not very good at all. I haven't been to Anaconda, so can't help you with that. However.... if you are looking for an amazing dinner on the beach, go immediately to Bay Bistro, which I actually think is better than Coco Bistro. You need to reserve ahead with Joan Whent (owner) if you want torchlight service at your own table set up on the beach under the stars, but we've done it twice now, and it is worth every penny!

Another vote for Bay Bistro--and if it coincides with beach bbq pig roast on the beach. even better!
For me Magnolia is also hit or miss, and Anacaona has amazing setting, the food is good, portions are tiny (still hungry!) hugely expensive (on already expensive island) and service quite frankly, strange.

At Coco Bistro see if you can ask for a quiet table further out in the garden. We've been there often and being seated right at the entrance to the garden can be hectic & noise from the kitchen. It does remain our favorite on the island.
Another vote for Bay Bistro but again table placement is key as it's very busy and can be noisy.
IMO, Magnolia has a magnificent view BUT that's it. I'd go for drinks and then move on to dinner elswhere.

Have a great time! I forgot to mention one of my favorite restaurants on the island, SOMEWHERE cafe, right next to WINDSONG hotel, and in front of CORAL GARDENS. Go at sunset, sit upstairs on their deck overlooking the beach, and order some of the best mixed drinks around! If you like Mexican food, stay for dinner. We love it there!
