Picking up rental car at Europcar at Avignon TGV.
How do I get to D900 going towards Apt?
Is the car rental office far from where we de-train? ie walkable?

What is the address of the rental car pick up location in Avignon? You should be able to google a map and check the location of the office and your railway stop. The car rental office should then be able to give you a map and directions to D900.

Ask for a car with GPS (if possible) or you might consider renting one. We found it very helpful to have a GPS when driving in Europe.

Rental Cars are just down the stairs leading from the train. There are two lots holding all of the cars. They'll give you a ticket to open the gates as you leave. Apt is dead east from Avignon and as far as I recall, it's D100 that goes on to Apt. Check with map in agency. Unless they've changed the designation to 900, 100 is a very good road and you'll make it to Apt quickly and smoothly.

Go to en.mappy.com . Click on the Itinerary tab, enter your Departure - Gare de Avignon TGV and Destination - Apt. You will then get detailed step by step driving directions with maps.

The rental car offices are within spitting distance of the station. Check viamichel.com and mappy.com for directions and have the proper Michelin paper maps for the region.
