Naples ,Italy Hotel or B&B You love??
We are planning for a month in Italy. Naples 4 nights. Just can't fathom all the choices of areas and hotels... so reaching out to you all for this one.
What we are looking for:
100 E or under
Easy walk to the metro (we'll be going to the train station a couple of times for field trips)
Historic Area
Great Breakfast (prefer a hot protein like eggs)
**Bonus but not necessary for a hotel near the Opera House, as we are going one night and would love to walk
Any favorites out there??
Thanks as always, kawh

I can recommend the Hotel Piazza Bellini, excellent location for the historical center, good breakfast, close to a metro stop. Depending upon your dates and room type, it might come in in your price range. I noticed that they also now offer a studio apartment.

Like bon_voyage, I enjoyed Hotel Piazza Bellini. It may be above your budget but check your dates. Very nearby the archaeological museum and within close walking distance of numerous other sights/sites. They serve a good breakfast.

bonvoyage and leele2.... thanks much for this. i looked the other day, and it showed as fully booked. (SO MANY are fully booked during period June 1-4 . we were really looking at lower standards after much frustration this afternoon... then saw the second post on this and thought, well... maybe i'll try their own web site again. (TA showed all booked still) Wow!! They have rooms... and will consult with DH tomorrow morning and see if we can nail it down. Love a good breakfast to start the day, as I can usually hold out for an afternoon drink/snack and a late dinner! (this is why i had to pass on Michael's tip... but thank you for it!)
Monday 4th has been booked everywhere... had our heart set on a certain hotel in Sorrento and all sources showed booked. I wrote to them asking if they could let me know if there was a cancellation... and they DID have a room!! Just one, and they gave me 24 hours to hold. So sometime persistence and rolling the dice can do the trick!
Thanks for all advice.

I'm booked here for a night next month. All the reviews are positive and the price is reasonable. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re..._Campania.html
